Lancelot and Guinevere were in love. When Arthur discovered they had feelings for each other, he sentenced Lancelot to exile and Guinevere to death. But Lancelot couldn’t let his lover die. So he kidnapped her and brought her to his realm in Britanny. Arthur crossed the Channel and fought against his former knight to defend his honour.
At the same time, Mordred, Arthur’s nephew, rebelled and took the throne. Arthur came back to England and fought against Mordred at Salisbury Plain. During the battle, Mordred died and Arthur got wounded. He was sent to Avalon where he died.
