Act one
3 parts needed: Narrator (NA), Scrooge (S) (a grumpy old man), Nephew (N) (a cheerful young man)
NA: Once upon a time, on Christmas Eve, old Scrooge sat busy in his counting-house.
N: A merry Christmas, uncle!
NA: It was the voice of Scrooge's nephew.
S: Bah!… Humbug!
N: Christmas a humbug, uncle! You don't mean that, I am sure?
S: I do. Every idiot who goes about with “Merry Christmas” on his lips should be boiled with his own pudding!
N: Uncle!
S: Nephew, keep Christmas in your own way, and let me keep it in mine.
N: Keep it! But you don't keep it.
