Learn how to read a text
1. Nous avons tous des méthodes différentes pour lire un texte. Quelle est la tienne ?
a) Quand je ne comprends pas un mot dans un texte, (je cherche son sens dans le dictionnaire / je panique / je continue à lire en me concentrant sur les mots transparents).
b) Pour retenir l'essentiel d'un texte lu, (je ne fais rien de spécial, tout est dans ma tête / je surligne les mots-clés dans le texte / je fais une fiche mémo avec les informations-clés).
2. Lis le point AP et note les trois points essentiels pour lire un texte efficacement.

Romeo+Juliet is an American movie released in 1996 and directed by Baz Luhrmann.
The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes in the leading roles of Romeo and Juliet.
The classic story of Romeo and Juliet (cf Shakespeare's play, 1597) is set in the modern-day city of Verona Beach. The two feuding families, the Montagues and the Capulets are represented as warring mafia empires and swords are replaced with guns.
As in the play, Romeo and Juliet meet and fall in love. They have to hide their love from the world because they know that their parents will not allow them to be together. There are obstacles on the way, like Juliet's cousin, Tybalt, and Romeo's friend Mercutio, and many fights.
In the movie, some of the characters' names are changed: Friar Lawrence becomes Father Lawrence, and Prince Escalus is renamed Captain Prince. There is no Friar John, even though he was in the original play.
