Look at your movie still and jot down words to describe what you see. Look up the words you don't know in a dictionary. (a paintbrush, wallpaper, a clock, etc.)

Why would this situation be considered comedy? What makes it funny?

Can you imagine what the characters might be saying in these situations? Write a title card for this scene.

Choose a movie still from a silent film and make a funny meme for your social media page. Present it to the class.

Why not watch some of Charlie Chaplin's movies online, like The Bank? Go online to find information about other famous silent movies and movie stars of the era like Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd or Mary Pickford.

Prepare a video entitled “My to watch list” (1 minute).

Your school is starting a film club! Participate in the  selection of the theme for next month's issue.
You definitely want it to be about silent cinema. Prepare your presentation and convince them.
